Introducing
Your Facilitators

Expressive Artist & Creativity Coach
Renée Schuls-Jacobson
Renée is a vibrant artist, published author, and guide for healing through creativity. After surviving a prolonged withdrawal from psychiatric medication, she rediscovered herself through art—using painting and mixed media to give voice to emotional and inner landscapes.
Since 2017, Renée has facilitated both in-person and online art classes, exploring watercolor, acrylics, collage, character painting, and intuitive mixed-media work. She is the author of PSYCHiATRIZED: Waking Up After a Decade of Bad Medicine and also teaches memoir writing. A Certified Peer Recovery Advocate (CRPA) and Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), Renée brings decades of teaching experience and a deeply compassionate, lived understanding of healing—inviting others into honest expression, creativity, and reconnection through art
Holistic Health & Embodiment Coach
Emilie Jordão
Emilie is a holistic health coach and embodiment guide who supports healing through nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and deep emotional connection. After navigating her own multi-year journey off psychiatric medication, Emilie experienced firsthand the importance of gentle, body-led healing and trauma-informed care.
Through her personal recovery, Emilie pursued specialized training in modalities that supported her healing, including nervous system regulation, somatic movement, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and integrative nutrition. Her work centers on helping people reconnect with their bodies, safely process emotion, and restore trust in their inner wisdom.
At the retreat, Emilie will guide embodiment and nervous system practices that support safety, creativity, and authentic connection—meeting each participant where they are.

Organizer & Spaceholder
Carolina Torchetti
Carolina is a retreat curator, space holder, and founder of WCC Retreats, devoted to creating environments where people feel safe enough to slow down, soften, and reconnect—with themselves and with one another. Through years of personal transformation and international living, she learned that true healing unfolds not through rigid structure, but within well-held, intentional spaces.
With over a decade of experience producing conscious retreats and events worldwide, Carolina bridges the practical and the intuitive—ensuring logistics flow seamlessly while honoring nervous system safety, presence, and care.
At the retreat, Carolina holds the overarching container, weaving together people, place, and process so the experience can unfold with clarity, ease, and depth.

Being part of this community has been a lifeline for me, and 2025 has been my best year yet in large part because of this work.”
